Langtang Valley Trek Ltinerary 

Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabuubesi

Syabrubesi: 1,550 meters (5,085 feet).- 7-8 hours
 

Syabrubesi is a village located at a distance of 7-8 hours from Kathmandu. The Langtang Valley trek starts from this village.

Day 2: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel

 
Lama Hotel: 2,380 meters (7,808 feet).  – 6 hours
 

Begin the trek following the Langtang River through thick forests of rhododendrons and bamboo. Arrive at Lama Hotel, a small settlement with a tea house, for an overnight stay. 

 Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village 

 
Langtang Village: 3,430 meters (11,253 feet)- 6-7 hours


Continue this trek through beautiful landscapes and small villages. After reaching Langtang village, you will see that this village has a Sherpa settlement with many traditional houses and a monastery. Overnight can be arranged at this place.

 Day 4: Langtang Village to Kinjin Gompa 

Kinjin Gompa: 3,870 meters (12,697 feet)- 3 hours 

 Climb to Kyanjin Gompa, a picturesque village surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Visit the ancient Kyanjin Gompa to witness the rebirth of the pristine scenery of the mountains. Stay overnight in that village.

Day 5: Orientation day at Kanjin Gompa 

Tserko Ri Peak: 4,984 meters (16,350 feet)-8-9 hours


 Rest at Kyanjin Gompa to acclimate to high altitude. Also, explore the surrounding areas, hike to nearby viewpoints, or visit the Tserko Ri peak. 

Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel 

Lama Hotel: 2380 meters (7808 feet)- 6-7 hours


Continue to descend again towards the Lama Hotel, retracing the same trail. One can enjoy the natural beauty and peaceful environment along the way and stay overnight at Lama. the hotel

Day 8: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Kathmandu – 1380 meters (4572 feet) 8 – 9 hrs
